Finding the Right Way to Help Meniere’s Disease

Vertigo Relief, Dizziness Relief, Dizzy, Meniere’s Disease Relief, Vertigo, Dizziness, Meniere’s , Meniere’s Disease Meniere’s disease is very debilitating to those who suffer from it. It is hard to cope with and finding the right help may seem impossible. However, there is hope for those that are dealing with Meniere’s. Consider the following case studies.

Positive Results on a Large Scale

A study was done that examined 139 Meniere’s patients. Each of these had suffered from some kind of trauma to their head or neck prior to experiencing symptoms including vertigo. It was discovered that each had endured damage to the upper cervical spine – particularly, a misalignment of the top two bones of the neck. They were given an adjustment by an upper cervical chiropractor.

Out of the 139, all but 3 of them responded positively. Reexamining the patients two years later, they reported that their symptoms went from a severity of 8.5 to just 1.4 out of 10. Of these, 135 noted a great improvement in their day to day activities. They were able to go to work, have happier relationships, and were able to drive. Some still experienced dizziness. However, it never progressed to vertigo. Some nausea was reported, but no vomiting. Their episodes of Meniere’s – if they happened at all – were not as severe and did not last as long. This is great news for sufferers of Meniere’s disease.

It was noted that in his medical history that he experienced a car accident at just 4 mph. While his condition took 14 years to show up, it was determined that this accident might have been the reason for his symptoms:

  • Ringing in the ears
  • A feeling of fullness in the ear
  • Vertigo
  • Neck pain
  • Headaches
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • One leg shorter than the other

After six weeks of care from an upper cervical chiropractor, all of his symptoms were reduced. After a year, he reported being vertigo free!
